Gospel artistes performing at campaigns.

Just noticed lately that gospel artistes are used by politicians to carry out campaigns. I would like you guys to share your views and leave your comments on what you think. In President Jonathan last campaign on declaration to become president in 2015, Sammie okposo and Yinka ayefele performed in the campaign. I am not sure if it is right or wrong.
